God made a near genetic twin of Adam when he took a rib from his body and used it to create Eve.

Geneticists do similar science when they recreate pets. Beginning with tissue from the original animal, they extract a nucleus from one of the cells. This nucleus, with all its traits, is put into an emptied animal ovum. The new embryo is shocked with electricity and put into a host mother, where, if the environment is right, the clone grows.

Seventy-five percent of cloned pregnancies fail or cloned newborns are born deformed.

Even if birth is achieved, cloned animals don’t act like their original and often don’t look like them either. Fur color, for example, takes many possibilities from one gene. Personality is highly influenced by upbringing. Cloning is a struggle… for humans.

God, on the other hand, can do anything. He created the physical form of Jesus and poured His Spirit, His attributes, His desires into Him. Like God, Jesus has the power to heal, to stop storms, to multiply food, to sense dishonesty, to know people’s pasts, to know His own future. Like God, He welcomes sinners, children and outcasts. But because He approves of worship of Himself He must be more than a clone. Jesus is God.
