He didn’t know growing chickens would change his life forever.

He grew up in a mud walled house with an open fire for cooking. An opportunity to raise chickens as a young boy paved the way for him to become a poultry farmer.

His dedication to his craft opened the door for Kwabena Darko to own the largest privately-owned chicken farm in Ghana and to become one of the most well-known poultry farmers in the world. His faith in God and his willingness to work as if he were working for God and not for people changed the trajectory of his life.

Work and faith are more closely connected than we tend to think.

Our work ethic should reflect an eternal perspective. In the midst of everyday life, we must seek to keep eternity in mind and do work that pleases God. Our faith in God should ignite a passion in us to work for His glory and His approval.
