You Are Valuable to Jesus

by Pastor Ken

Ephesians 5:31-33

For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

In these two verses Jesus is telling us that God doesn’t miss a thing—that He is personally interested in every aspect of His creation…including even the life of a sparrow.

The point Jesus is making is this: God knows and cares about what’s going on with you. Even the smallest of details matters to Him. He knows how many hairs you have, what you worry about, what you struggle with emotionally, what your heart desires, and what you need.

But God’s attention to detail doesn’t stop with just knowing. No, He not only knows what you need, but He also provides all your needs. And when you put your full faith and trust in Him, God blesses you with things both tangible and intangible that fill your life with a joy and peace you didn’t know were possible.

Jesus sees you as a precious and valuable treasure—so much so that he paid the price or punishment for your sins through His death on the cross. Why? So that you can have the opportunity for eternal life in heaven with Him and God the Father.

Let Jesus show you just how valuable and precious you are.
