He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with My Father on His throne.
Are you overcome? Life promises hills, piles, loads, and seemingly unending tasks. They can bury us. We can complain about them. We can see them as enemies. We can fear them. Or, we can overcome them. We don’t have to let our circumstances – our Rocky Mountains, our dark valleys – depress us, send us into hiding, or color our faces with war paint.
We can walk with Jesus. We can have a prayer conversation that never ends, offering Him our every challenge, speaking out our trust that He is caring for us. We can thank Him for the good plan we believe we’re a part of.
We can overcome. If we do, if we live our faith, live out an honest belief that God is bigger than all we have coming at us, if we grow our spirit beneath our battered bodies, we will conquer. Claim it. God is real. He is caring for you.
