The LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
If you enjoy woodworking, sewing, cake decorating, painting, or some other form of arts and crafts, you know what it means to experience a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when you stand back and look at what you’ve made.
Craftspeople and artists are protective of their creations. No one wants a thing they’ve worked so hard to create be misused or unappreciated.
The same holds true with God when it comes to you.
You are God’s creation, workmanship, and masterpiece. It breaks His heart to see you misused and unappreciated—especially when you under-appreciate yourself or misuse your own body.
God stamped every single human being with His image. So, now, in Christ, you can praise and glorify your Creator.
Freely give away His unimaginably abundant blessings. Be joyful: God has given you today to reflect the best image of Himself to others. Admire others as His own masterpieces. It costs you nothing to lift another child of God up, saying “You’re wonderful!” or “You’re special!”
God formed you. He made you. He created you with a purpose. Today, celebrate His creation! Sing to God for creating the one and only, beautiful and amazing YOU.
Please give me the wisdom to appreciate the beauty of Your creation. Help me to see the beauty in myself, since You made me too. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
