Building Relationships with Others Can Make My Loneliness Disappear

When the temptation comes to sit by myself, I can overcome it and go out and do something with others. I can deliberately build love, unity, brotherhood, sisterhood, and fellowship. Addressing my loneliness can create opportunities for God to make all things work together for good (Romans 8:28).

I can help share others’ burdens

Galatians 6:2

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

I humbly think of others and place their needs before mine

Philippians 2:3-4

Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.

I fellowship with other believers

1 John 1:7

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
