I am Secure in Christ

My faith in Christ offers important protection in this insecure, uncertain world. With God’s help, I want to firmly anchor my life in Jesus and always keep these Bible promises in my mind.

I am faultless before God

Jude 1:24

Now to him who is able to keep them from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory in great joy.

I am free forever from condemnation

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

I am assured that all things work together for good

Romans 8:28

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

I am free from any condemning charges against me

Romans 8:31-34

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

I cannot be separated from God’s love in Christ

Romans 8:35, 37-39

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I have been established, anointed, and sealed by God

2 Corinthians 1:21-22

Now he who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.

I choose to fill my mind with things that reflect my relationship with God

Colossians 3:2-3

Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

I am confident that God is working with me

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

I am a citizen of heaven

Philippians 3:20

For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

I have been given a positive, powerful spirit

2 Timothy 1:7

For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

I can find grace and mercy for help in time of need

Hebrews 4:16

Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

I am God’s child, and the evil one cannot touch me

1 John 5:18

We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him.

I have victory through Christ now

1 Corinthians 15:57

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
