We often talk about God being the Creator of all things, but have you stopped to think about God’s creativity?

God’s indescribable imagination made his original ideas a reality. He is revealed in the beauty displayed throughout nature. His artistic work shines all around us. Without a doubt, nature testifies of God’s glorious creativity. From the albatross bird that can sleep while it flies to the flamingo that eats only when its head is upside down; God’s fingerprints are all over nature and God’s fingerprints are all over your life, too.

The Bible tells us in Colossians 1:16-17 that in Christ, “all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”

All of nature testifies of the goodness of God and His creative works in nature. And although we are surrounded by all of this natural beauty, one day, it will all change. Revelation 21 promises us a new heaven and earth. One that will far exceed what we now see. Yet today’s passage in Psalm 102 promises us that though the earth will utterly change, God is eternal and changeless. Praise Him! He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
