Seeking God
When problems or decisions come, I need to turn to God and seek His guidance instead of relying on myself.
Why? Because I see only part of the picture, while God sees the whole situation. He knows what is best for me. God also wants to show me what’s right. He loves me and He wants to help me.
I must not let my pride, or anything else, keep me from seeking God’s help. Instead, I can turn to Christ and humbly admit my need for His grace and wisdom.
Seeking God gives me life
Psalm 22:26
The humble shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise the LORD who seek after him. Let your hearts live forever.
I will keep seeking Him, and I will find Him
Luke 11:9-10
I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
Satisfaction is found in seeking God
Psalm 63:1
God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.

Great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul. “Therefore I will hope in him.” The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.
Those who seek God shall not lack any good thing
Psalm 34:10
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
Seeking God’s kingdom leads to righteousness
Hosea 10:12
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap according to kindness. Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and rains righteousness on you.
