God’s Love for Humanity
God created humanity. Every person who ever lived on this planet did so because God loved them and wanted to spend eternity with them.
“All have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23 WEB). No one is free from the horror of sin. Yet God, in His infinite love, has provided us a way out. His Son sacrificed Himself for us. We cannot save ourselves from the darkness of sin, but Jesus can. All we have to do is ask Him to and accept His gift.
God loved humans from the beginning
Genesis 1:26-27, 31
God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. There was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.
God satisfies all desires
Psalm 145:15-16
The eyes of all wait for you. You give them their food in due season. You open your hand, and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
God highly values humanity
Matthew 6:25-26
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
God’s love brings me life
1 John 4:9
By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
God loves me forever
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
God’s love for me has cost him greatly
1 John 4:10
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
God has gone to great lengths to save me
Romans 5:8
But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God’s love is cause for rejoicing

God’s love preserves me
Psalm 36:5-7
Your loving kindness, LORD, is in the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are like a great deep. LORD, you preserve man and animal. How precious is your loving kindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings.
God’s love for me endures forever
Psalm 136:1-3
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods; for his loving kindness endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords; for his loving kindness endures forever.
