In Angola, a university student who kept the Sabbath was soon to graduate.

His last exam was scheduled for a Sabbath, so he asked the professor for an earlier date.

“No!” was the answer.

He then went to the university president, presented his case, and received another “No.” “The exam will always be scheduled on the same day of the week and you’ll never graduate,” the president told the student. “You have a problem!”

“It’s not my problem,” the student replied. “It’s God’s problem.”

That Sabbath, he went to church instead of to class. He chose to worship, let go of worry, and trust in God’s provision.

The exam was administered as scheduled and afterwards the professor stuffed the completed exams into his briefcase. As he walked home, a thief ran up and stole the briefcase. The professor never got it back. Now he had a problem.

When he told the president about his misfortune, he was told to give the students the grades they’d already earned and forget about the test! The student who trusted and obeyed God got an A in the course and graduated.

When we’re stuck and can’t figure things out, we can trust Him completely and rest in His solution because He has many ways to solve our dilemmas!
