Wisdom is a Gift from God

God created me with a mind capable of reasoning and making critical decisions. My thoughts affect my actions. My thoughts affect my eternity. If I ask, God promises to guide me and give me wisdom for whatever challenges I may face.
When I ask God for wisdom, He will give it to me
James 1:5
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
God gives wisdom to those who please Him
Ecclesiastes 2:26
For to the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him who pleases God. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.
God wants me to ask Him for wisdom
2 Chronicles 1:11-12
God said to Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches, wealth, honor, or the life of those who hate you, nor yet have you asked for long life; but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge my people, over whom I have made you king, therefore wisdom and knowledge is granted to you. I will give you riches, wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had who have been before you, and none after you will have.”
Even my enemies will recognize God's wisdom
Luke 21:15
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or to contradict.
I can pray for another's wisdom
Colossians 1:9
For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
The Lord gives wisdom
Proverbs 2:5-7
Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.
God dispenses wisdom
1 Kings 4:29
God gave Solomon abundant wisdom and understanding, and very great understanding, even as the sand that is on the seashore.
