Grace affects what I say
Colossians 4:6
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Grace causes me to turn away from sin
Romans 6:1, 14-15
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace. What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? May it never be!
God's grace affects my behavior
2 Corinthians 1:12
For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
God's grace teaches me
Titus 2:11-12
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.

2 Corinthians 12:9
