My mother-in-law called us on the phone. “Come help me, I am not strong enough to get up.”

I rushed across town, went into her home and helped “Mom” up. She could barely breathe. I called an ambulance.

At the hospital, the doctor told us he did not expect her to live through the weekend. He advised us to call family.

Soon, the waiting room was full of people who came from out of town and across the state.

From Saturday through Tuesday she remained unconscious.

On Wednesday, she woke up.

My wife told her, “Mom we thought we were going to lose you!”

My mother-in-law replied, “God said He was not done with me yet!”

The nurse said she was probably delusional, but I felt the peace in the room, which was full of family. More than one person stated no, Mom was not delusional; it was really God talking to her.

The doctor called her the Miracle Woman! He was amazed at her recovery.

Mom never strayed from her belief that God talked to her. She requested baptism and was baptized along with my wife several months later.

All our lives changed the day she woke up! God still speaks today — and some are blessed to hear Him!
