Jesus summoned them, saying, “Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Most certainly, I tell you, whoever doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
When was the last time you heard good news? Did you shout? Did you jump? Did you cry for joy? The people of Buliisa, Uganda had a spontaneous party! The day that their borehole well was finally dug and set to pump clean water, families sang and waved their arms at the sky. The three villages who would share this well were too poor to raise the building funds themselves. So Christian people from around the world gathered money to help, and they sent it in Jesus’ name. The people of Buliisa heard the good news of Jesus through the life-giving gift of a deepwater well.
Sharing Jesus’ love is more than words. It naturally comes with healing blind eyes and strengthening paralyzed legs. It comes with eating dinner with outcasts and feeding crowds. God’s good news makes people smile, weep, hope, and rejoice. It betters lives, families, and villages. It is beautiful.
You too have a beautiful story to share. Give someone a piece of God’s beautiful message today.
