When you read, “I will make you [put your name] a great nation,” how does it make you feel to know God wants bless YOU personally?

Do you have a difficult time believing it? Do you get excited thinking about the wonderful ways God can bless and work through you, if you allow Him to fulfill His purpose for your life?

Today’s verse also says that when you live as God’s heir, God will bless those who bless you and that He will curse them who curses you. This means that the people you love, live with, work with, and interact with will be blessed or cursed by God according to how they treat you. What an awesome promise!

Our spiritual enemy works overtime trying to convince you that God won’t or can’t bless you. But Romans 8:31 says that if God is for you no one can stop you. So, when you believe God’s promises as your personal ones, those promises will be realized in your life.

Prayer: Dear God, I humbly ask you to help me to believe all the promises of the Bible as Your personal ones to me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
