Jesus Shines in the Darkness

by Pastor Ken

Psalm 112:4-6

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous. It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment. For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.

Imagine that Jesus, the Light of the world (John 8:12), dawns in the darkness of your heart.

When Jesus comes to you, you will have a total transformation of your life; not a little repair, but a complete change.

When I was ten, many people around me did not know the Bible. They taught me the opposite of the Bible’s teachings, so I was in the dark. It was so dark, I could not see any future. I simply waited for an eternal death, due to the things I had done.

Thank God, Jesus the Light of the world came into my heart. When I met Him, all the darkness disappeared. The more I learned about Jesus through the Bible, the more joy and happiness came to me. That joy and happiness in the Lord continues to increase today.

Do you have any darkness in you?

Let Jesus, the Light of the world, shine in your darkness. Then you will find that you are a totally changed person. When Jesus shines through you, you will be the temple of the Holy Spirit.

With Jesus, you are generous, compassionate, and righteous. You will not be overcome by evil. You will long be remembered because you are under God’s light.

Reflection

With Jesus shining through me, how can I be a light to others who are lost in darkness?

Prayer

Dear God, Please let Jesus always shine in my life so I can also shine with His light. Please remember me forever. In the name of Jesus, who is the Light of the world, I pray, Amen.
