When my life gets overwhelming and I do not know what to do, I go to the park near a nearby lake.

The trees are green and the birds are singing. The lake is peaceful.

With Jesus, I walk and talk about everything that’s going on with me.

Lately, I thanked Him for so many things He has done. I expressed special thanks for friends, for a recent trip, for good food, and good times shared.

I thanked God for not only healing my wife from a terrible sickness that plagued her a few years ago, but for her continuing health, and for the people who have contributed to it.

I prayed for my children, asking God to bless them, to keep them safe, and to guide their paths.

And I prayed for you. Every day, I ask God to bless the people who use this app, who read these words, who are searching for a closer walk with Him.

Beautiful memories of answered prayers continually empower my life.

After speaking to Jesus for about half an hour, I left the park. I no longer felt overwhelmed. Jesus had been my High Tower. He uplifted and energized me to face any trouble ahead.
