God is patient — and for that I am glad.

Even though I am baptized into Christ and have accepted His sacrifice for my sins, I’m glad God is still patiently waiting for me to grow more fully into the person He created me to be.

I’m glad God is being patient while our loved ones find their way back to Him after a period of rebellion.

I’m glad God is patiently guiding us to take the Word to those who have never heard it.

I’m glad He is patiently reminding me to invite my neighbors to church.

I’m especially grateful for His patience when I fall.

I’m glad God is patiently leading His people to be the light of Jesus among their co-workers.

I’m glad God is patiently orchestrating things for us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.

God is patient because God is love. But that same love will someday cause God to say it is time to spend eternity with His children. I can’t wait!
