More than a few televangelists have fallen from grace because they have allowed Satan to lure them into believing fame and fortune is the goal, rather than seeking and saving the lost.

More recently, a widely-respected founder/preacher/teacher of a megachurch in the central part of the United States was fired for being highly inappropriate on several levels and making the ministry his instead of God’s.

Preachers aren’t the only ones guilty of letting the sins of pride and greed distract them away from giving God the glory for who and what they are.

No matter what we do for a living, no matter what we do for fun, no matter where we spend our time or who we spend it with, Jesus needs to be present. People need to see His joy filling our hearts. People need to see the compassion of Jesus in our eyes. They need to experience that compassion and love in what we do with our hands, our feet, and the resources with which God has blessed us.

Everything we do should tell the world who we are: children of God saved by the blood of Jesus. Regardless of what we say, our actions will always speak loudest.
