Source of Boldness

by Pastor Ken

Nehemiah 9:31

“Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you didn’t make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God.”

When you ask Him to, God will forgive anything and everything from your past (1 John 1:9).

God will completely forgive you because He is “a gracious and merciful God.” This truth should give you a heart of gratitude that causes you to hold on to His loving grace.

When you face one of life’s difficult trials, you know that because of God’s mercy you can claim His promise that what is impossible for you is possible with God (Luke 18:27).

God’s plan for your life is far better than anything you can imagine (Jeremiah 29:11). He wants to bless you and be gracious to you. Jesus also promised to erase your past and make your life truly good and abundant (John 10:10).

In order for these things happen, you must claim the gifts God offers. Accept Jesus as your personal Savior. Confess your sins, repent, and stake your claim as a child and heir of God, the King of Kings. He owns the world and everything in it (Psalm 24:1). Give yourself wholly to Him today!

Reflection

How does the knowledge that I am a child of the Almighty King of Kings affect me?

Prayer

Dear Lord, Please help me boldly claim the promises You have made in the Bible. Help me to fully appreciate Your wonderful grace and mercy. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
