He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.”
Imagine the day God makes all things new.
Those who have lived life here on earth, faithfully and obediently, are instantly changed forever into new spiritual beings.
They gather together in front of God’s throne. Then God speaks, “Behold, I am making all things new.”
He proclaims everything perfectly recreated. Sin and sinners are no more. The entire universe is pure and clean. He welcomes home all who have remained faithful, including you and me.
From God the Creator, light and life and joy flow throughout the vast limitless universe. From the smallest atom to the greatest star, everything, in their perfect beauty and joy, declares that God is love.
Yes, the loving Trinity of God — Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit — will be one with us in all their glory. This is what Jesus prayed for on the night before His death (John 17:24).
“Father, I desire that they also whom You have given Me be with Me where I am, that they may see My glory, which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”
What a bright picture of the future! What a glorious day it will be! I pray that you and I will be there with overwhelming joy.
How can I be new each day? How can Jesus make me new now and forever?
Dear Creator, Thank You for making everything new. Help me be renewed each day. I look forward to standing before Your throne. I pray in Jesus’ wonderful name, Amen. Hallelujah!
