Paul knew something about the transformative power of Christ. As Saul, a powerful religious leader, he was at the forefront of persecuting and executing Christians. But when he had a personal encounter with Jesus, his name and his behavior changed completely.

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation,” the converted, repentant Paul wrote. “The old things have passed away… all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

The love of Jesus continues to change lives today. Dedicate your life to Him and experience the total transformation of mind, body, and spirit.

Presenting myself wholly to God transforms my mind, body, and spirit

Romans 12:1-2

Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Wisdom completely alters a person

Ecclesiastes 8:1

Who is like the wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a thing? A man’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the hardness of his face is changed.

Turning toward God transforms me to be more like Him

2 Corinthians 3:16-18

But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

The earth will utterly change, but God is eternal and changeless

Psalm 102:25-27

Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed. But you are the same. Your years will have no end.

One day, our mortality will be instantly transformed to immortality

1 Corinthians 15:51-53

Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. For this perishable body must become imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Accepting the truth of Christ purifies my soul and transforms my heart

1 Peter 1:22-23

Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently, having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.

Believing in Christ utterly changes me

Some disciples got to see Jesus transfigured and transformed

Mark 9:2-3

After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them. His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.

The overcomer will be completely transformed and renamed in heaven

Revelation 3:21

He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.

The redeemed will be transformed with God’s name on their foreheads and will live in eternal light

Revelation 22:3-5

There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no night, and they need no lamp light or sun light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

Heaven will transform my existence

Revelation 21:4

He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.
