The tour group thrilled to see the ancient ruins of Luxor, the mighty Nile River, and other special sights of Egypt.

Then one morning they awakened to the news that they must leave Egypt immediately. COVID-19 was threatening!

The tour guide jumped into action and began exploring options to get her guests home to the U.S. and Brazil. As she perused the internet, flights were filling up ahead of her and she began to feel the stress of her responsibility to ensure that her non-English-speaking Brazilian guests and her American guests would be able to leave in a timely manner.

Providentially, seats opened up for all the Americans and she grabbed those spots. But what about her Brazilian colleagues? She needed to see them safely on their way before she left the country herself.

Jumping onto a bus, the group headed for Cairo, where they hoped to have more luck finding tickets. Inside a travel agency, the guide implored the agent to find something for her five friends.

“I’m sorry,” the agent said, “but there’s nothing available!”

Huddled in a corner, the tour guests prayed ardently. After a long and intense search, the agent suddenly shouted, “Here’s a Brazil flight with open seats!” Everyone laughed and cried at the same time to see God’s provision.
