Optimism

I build my life on the redemptive work of Jesus, so I am an optimist. Jesus took my sufferings on Himself to remove all my sins and sufferings (Isaiah 53:4-5). This is the biblical foundation for my optimism.

Because of this certainty of Jesus’ sacrifice and His wonderful promises, biblical realism is Godly optimism.

Jesus promises there will be no more death or pain; He will wipe away my tears

Revelation 21:4

He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.

My faith makes me optimistic

Matthew 9:29

Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.”

I am not afraid or discouraged for my God is with me wherever I go

Joshua 1:9

I guard my heart with optimistic promises, for it determines the course of my life

I can do everything through Jesus who gives me strength

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

Every day God made for me is a reason to rejoice and be happy

Ephesians 4:29

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

I know God’s plan for me is to give me a promising future and hope

I am optimistic, for I cherish the love that never gives up, believes all, and endures through every circumstance
