Some days life is extremely hard and trials threaten to overwhelm you.

Those are the days when you might be tempted to throw in the towel because it seems like the odds are stacked against you. It’s like you’re in a maze, trapped by your circumstances, helpless and hopeless. When thoughts of defeat seek to tear you down, remember that God has an escape plan with your name on it.

In today’s verse, Paul encourages believers with this timeless truth: no temptation you face is uncommon to humanity. No obstacle, trial, or temptation is unique only to you. Others have gone through it and have overcome. God is on your side and has crafted a way out. Not only has God given you a way out, but He also equips you with endurance. God empowers you to escape, endure, and overcome.

God specializes in deliverance and has an escape plan you can access at this very moment. In order to access God’s deliverance, you need to hold on to God as if your next breath depended on it.

Turn to Him in prayer. Pour out your heart to Him.

God is never too busy to hear your concerns. In fact, He craves your presence and enjoys giving His children a way out of temptation.
