Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:35, 37
The word “separate” means “to put a space between.” Can anyone put a space between you and Christ’s love? Can anyone cause Him to stop loving you? All the things that Paul now lists will not make Christ love you any less. The evils listed in this verse were as real to the early Christians as they are to us today.
Nothing can separate you from God, but someone can, and that someone is YOU. Only you can separate yourself from God. You have the God-given free will to decide whether or not you will choose Him or Satan. It is all up to you.
God wants you to choose Christ. Do you want to choose Him and have glorious victories in Christ (verse 37)?
God bless you and have a victorious day with Him!
Help me choose Christ
and experience glorious victory today.
I pray in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
