He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
Jesus isn’t called “Savior” for nothing. He bears the title because that is who and what He is. The words to one of the verses of this precious hymn say it best:
A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord,
He taketh my burden away;
He holdeth me up, and I shall not be moved; He giveth me strength as my day.
PRAY: LORD, Jesus, thank You for saving me. Thank You for being the one I can put my trust in. Give me the heart and mind to do just that. In Your name, I pray, Amen.
