Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Why do you need to trust in God?
God has all knowledge and all power. He foresees every struggle and has a plan to deal with every pain and difficulty that comes your way. He is all you need, so stop volleying back and forth, trusting first in God, then in yourself, depending on the circumstances. Put your full faith and trust in Him.
Putting your full trust in God does not mean you must lay aside intelligence and give up the power of choice. You need wisdom to discern God’s Word and seek His will for your life. God wants you to choose Him, not feel obligated or enslaved to Him.
Trust in God as Caleb and Joshua did. When ten spies said it would be impossible to defeat the people in the Promised Land, these two said with a loud voice: “They are tall and strong, but if we trust in God, we can defeat all of them.” (Read the whole story in Numbers 13 and 14.)
When you acknowledge God in every part of your life, yours will be a life well lived.
How can I trust in God completely today?
Dear God, Please help me trust in You completely. I acknowledge Your grace in my life. Thank You for leading me on the path You want me to go. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
