Paul, a businessman, had a critical meeting with some coworkers in New York City.

Afterward, they all headed for the airport — and home. When a cab finally stopped for them, everybody ran to it.

In their rush, they hit a pile of produce on display at a street vendor’s booth. Fruits and vegetables flew everywhere.

While everyone else got into the taxi, Paul helped the booth owner — an old, blind woman — pick up the mess.

Friends inside the taxi shouted, “If you don’t get in, we will miss the plane!”

But Paul let them go and continued collecting what had fallen.

The old blind lady told him, “You must be Jesus, aren’t you?”

Paul said, “No.”

She said, “When my things fell, I prayed to Jesus to help me. And you appeared.”

Paul stayed in a hotel that night and flew home early the next morning.

When was the last time that somebody confused you for Jesus?

Humbly pray to God to help you care for people around you. Inspire your friends by texting encouraging Bible verses and devotions. Spend some time with children or lonely seniors and help them whenever you can. Let your love for God’s children show. Let them see Jesus in you.
