The sound of singing voices reverberated off of the walls and mixed with the sounds of flowing water, causing complete awe to wash over me as I let my voice join the others.

We were on an overnight caving trip with about 15 students and a handful of us staff. Going through the tunnels, we happened upon an open area with a waterfall. As we heard the effect of the room on our normal voices, we began to break out into song.

The effect was so beautiful. As the sound grew and filled the space around us, all I could think was that this must be similar to what heaven sounds like — what a countless multitude of voices worshiping and praising God must resemble.

Right now it may be hard to imagine a time when the whole earth worships God. However, we are told that this will happen.

The Psalmist in Psalm 66:4 looks forward to this when he says that all the earth will worship God and will sing to Him.

There will come a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess.

God is worthy of worship and the time is coming when we will all sing and worship Him. As we look forward to that day, let us not fail to bring Him worship now.
