My wife and I have friends who married when the wife was just sixteen years old.

She was a Christian who went to church while her husband drank and partied on the weekends. She prayed for him every day.

Children came into their lives. She started to think about leaving him, yet she continued to pray.

Her prayers continued for her husband while she focused on raising her children and continuing her education. She was a wonderful mother and a loving wife, though she still thought about leaving her carousing husband.

Her humble spirit paid off one day as her husband decided to go to church with her. He fell at the altar and gave his heart to Jesus Christ, realizing his past faults and confessing his sins. He not only asked Jesus for forgiveness, but he also asked his wife to forgive him.

Today, they work together for the Lord. They own a successful business that embraces women with cancer, providing for the needs of those in the midst of health crises. Their children also work for them and embrace the needs of Christian love in a humble spirit.

This woman’s quiet spirit has beautified not only her family, but those who she ministers to as well.
