Amazing grace: how sweet the sound!

God’s grace — something we cannot earn, and we certainly do not deserve — is one of the great mysteries of the universe. It is evidence of His boundless love. Because of grace, Jesus paid the price for our sins. Because of grace, our lives are redeemed. Praise God for the amazing grace He extends to each one of His children today and forever more.

God’s grace saves me

Romans 11:5-6

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

God is gracious

Psalm 116:5-6

The LORD is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful. The LORD preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.

Romans 5:1-2

Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

How do I get God’s grace?

Psalm 84:11

For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.
