I am a doer.

The worst conditions don’t intimidate me. In fact, the further a situation returns from, the clearer one can see the final outcome. I love to see results!

Give me a good project to turn around and I am elated. Overgrown garden, neglected property, a disabled senior’s home to deep clean and/or renovate are all opportunities that have my attention.

It awes me when I consider the vastness of God’s renovation project in me. Such a big job — and the only thing it requires of me is my cooperation.

When God deep cleans, rancid, harmful items are tossed out. Sunlight shines in, allowing me to see more clearly into corners I had thought were well swept and cleaned. The character defects and experiential hurts that He tends to not only bring wellness to me, but also carry that wellness through me to the generations after me.

Genesis 12:2-3 shows that our wellbeing is based on God alone. If we accept His diagnosis of our sinful condition and accept Him as the deep-cleaning renovator of our lives, He promises to bless us and the generations we influence.
