Divine Fullness

Ephesians 3:17-19
That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
What do you need?
Our answers to that question are telling about what we consider most important. Money won’t help me draw closer to God. Nor will it buy me His favor. Earthly health has no impact on my eternal life. God doesn’t force me to love Him, so He certainly won’t force an imperfect family member or friend to love me — no matter how much I might desire it.
What is lacking in your life to relieve your heart and mind of stress and worry?
I’m not talking about the worldly things that would draw you away from God and give you a false sense of independence. No, I’m talking about the blessings God wants to provide that will cause you to give thanks, recognize His holiness, and declare His goodness in providing you with your life’s needs.
God’s divine provision is there for the taking. All you have to do is ask, believe, accept, and give thanks.
God is waiting on the “edge of His seat” to pour out His blessings on you; blessings that are far more wonderful than anything the world has to offer. They are blessings made especially for you.
Ask God to fill you with His divine provision today — and every day!
Reflection
How much do I know of the vast fullness of God’s blessings that He wants to share with me?
Prayer
Dear Jesus, Please bless me with Your divine provision and give me a heart of thanks for all You have already given me. Help me to value what You value and to recognize Your blessings when I encounter them. Amen.
