A Chinese Christian woman gave Bible studies to a family that met in her home.

As the studies advanced, more people joined the group until finally the Communist authorities noticed.

“If you meet again in your home, you will be arrested!” they warned her.

She promised not to meet in her home anymore, then went on to meet in various other homes! Eventually, she was arrested and sentenced to a year in a women’s prison.

Soon after her incarceration, she realized God had prepared this place for her. She began to sing hymns in her cell. Soon she was teaching sixty women about God.

One day, the prison superintendent came to her and said, “We made a mistake by putting you in prison; now you’re converting the prisoners! You’ve been here for six months and we’ve decided to send you home. You can go now.”

The little lady pulled herself up to all of her five feet two inches and said, “You can’t send me home now. That’s against the law! Besides, my work here isn’t done.”

Perhaps the real enemy we face isn’t our circumstances or people who are against us. The real enemy is that we have forgotten that we belong to God and it’s His business to put us where He needs us, even when we feel thwarted or in danger. It’s His business to care for us!
