God is so incredibly patient.

I’ve been reminded of that lately because of the Bible study I’m doing with my best friend… a study from the book of Numbers — an amazing book filled with more life-lessons than I can count (pun intended). The most obvious lesson of all, though, is the one that teaches and reminds me of God’s immeasurable love and patience for His children.

Despite all the times the Israelites blatantly and deliberately disobeyed, disrespected, and disappointed God, He forgave them. Why? Because He made a promise to Abraham to save his descendants, and God doesn’t break His promises.

Despite the people’s rejection of Jesus as the Messiah, God still made good on His promise to send His Son as the Savior. Why? Because God doesn’t break His promises.

Even though Jesus’ sacrifice of love offers peace and eternal life to all who accept Him, still, many refuse. God’s patience and love are put to the test every day, proving no length is too long when it comes to what God will do to save us.
