The Israelites didn’t think it was possible to escape the Egyptian army as they stood on the shoreline of the Red Sea, the hooves of horses and wheels of chariots thundering in the background. But they did.

Saul and the soldiers around him didn’t think it was possible for David to stand against Goliath and live to tell about it. But David knew nothing is impossible for God when it comes to getting something done.

Lepers didn’t think it was possible to be disease-free; those who were blind and crippled didn’t think it was possible for them to walk or see. But they did.

Peter, James, and John, along with the other leaders of the early church didn’t think it was possible for Saul (later called Paul) to go from vehemently hating Christians and killing them to becoming the greatest evangelist of all times.

Impossible situations. Impossible odds. Impossible recoveries and healings. Impossible change. Each time, the impossible became possible because of God.

Your impossibles are possible for God, too. As today’s verse promises: there is nothing God can’t do for you. There is nothing He can’t see you through. Trust Him to keep His promise to you today.
