My Health is Important to Jesus

Jesus, the perfect Son of God, became a human, enduring everything humans face. He understands sickness, sadness, depression, suffering. He lost loved ones. He died a horrific death. No matter what we must go through, Jesus understands. Praise His name, He conquered the grave, paving the way for us to follow Him to victory too!
Jesus' sacrifice holds the key to my healing
Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
Jesus goes out of His way to heal us
Matthew 9:35
Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
Jesus hears my prayers on others' behalf
Matthew 9:1-2
He entered into a boat and crossed over, and came into his own city. Behold, they brought to him a man who was paralyzed, lying on a bed. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, cheer up! Your sins are forgiven you.”
To Jesus, the greatest healing is forgiving my sins
Matthew 9:5-8
“For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Get up, and walk?’ But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins—” (then he said to the paralytic), “Get up, and take up your mat, and go to your house.” He arose and departed to his house. But when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
Jesus wants to give me spiritual healing
Mark 2:17
When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
