I can trust in God
Psalm 20:7-8
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright.
God protects me
Psalm 23:4-6
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over. Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the LORD’s house forever.
My God is stronger than any army
Psalm 27:3
Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.
God is the source of my confidence
Psalm 71:5
For you are my hope, Lord GOD, my confidence from my youth.
Only God deserves my confidence
Psalm 118:8-9
It is better to take refuge in the LORD, than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in the LORD, than to put confidence in princes.
