Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Therefore go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
When you get good news it is only natural that you want to share it with anyone and everyone who will listen or take a minute to read it on your social media pages. It’s only natural to want to do so.
As a Christian you need to remember that the message of salvation through Jesus is the best news you will ever have to share. You also need to remember the fact that Jesus’ last words spoken on earth were the command (not suggestion) to share this good news with anyone and everyone that will listen. That means as a Christian, you’ve got a job to do!
Sharing the good news of the Gospel can be done with words, actions, attitudes, and responses. Sharing the message of the Gospel is something you do because of your desire to pass along your good news—news you want to share with as many people as possible because without it they are lost.
When you share good news of any kind, you hope that those you share it with will also share your excitement and enthusiasm. This isn’t always the case, though, is it? Sometimes people don’t appreciate what you have to say. Some people don’t even want to hear it. But don’t let that stop you! Just tell someone else because you’ve got a job to do and the news of salvation is the best news you’ll ever share with anyone!
