But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
When God asked King Solomon, “What do you want me to give you?” Solomon answered, “Give me wisdom, God.” God was so pleased with Solomon’s choice that God made him the wisest and richest person in the history of the world.
Would you like to be filled with God’s wisdom? If so, pay a special attention today’s verse. If you ask daily for God’s wisdom, it will be yours. It will change your entire life in ways you cannot even imagine.
God does not want you to be ignorant. He wants you to have the wisdom that comes from Him so that you will be able to make decisions (big and small) according to His will for your life.
Each morning Jesus wanted a quiet place to ask for the Father’s wisdom. Daniel also prayed for wisdom three times a day. Throughout history, men and women of God have prayed for God’s wisdom to be theirs, too. Will you make a habit of asking God’s wisdom starting today?
Father, help me to ask for wisdom each and every day so that through Your wisdom, I can live the life You want to me to live. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
